Family of scientist as a subject reproduction intellectual potential of regional society (for example, family scientists, UB RAS)

The article reveals the role the social institution of the family in the reproduction of social life, in particular, the intellectual potential of regional society. Analyzes its components and determinants of regional and institutional levels. On the basis of a sociological survey of 550 scientific staff of a number of academic institutions, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, conducted by the authors in 2013 at the Institute of Economics of UB RAS, analyzes the general and specific components of family relations of this specific group of intellectuals, their value orientations and behavioral responses in the upbringing of their children.
